One way as Christ followers that we can surrender ourselves to the Lord and honor Him is through financial giving. Living a life of obedience to God is not always an easy task. However, we believe that obediently giving our tithes and offerings is an act of intimate worship of our Creator. God doesn’t need our money. It was His to begin with. When we willingly and cheerfully set aside the first part of our income for His Kingdom, our hearts will be turned toward Him. At Central Church, we believe whole heartedly in supporting those in need and know that God is faithful when we trust in Him.
“But this I say: He who sows sparingly will also reap sparingly, and he who sows bountifully will also reap bountifully. 7 So let each one give as he purposes in his heart, not grudgingly or of necessity; for God loves a cheerful giver. 8 And God is able to make all grace abound toward you, that you, always having all sufficiency in all things, may have an abundance for every good work.” 2 Corinthians 9:6-8
